Copywriting

Summa relies on me for executive speeches, annual reports, video scripts, website copy and more.  I wrote all the stories featuring nursing accomplishments in the 2009 Summa Nursing Annual Report.

In the summer of 2008, my husband and I traveled with our five children to re-trace our personal history… traveling with a pop-up camper to where we met in Casper, Wyoming and on to the sheep ranch/winery near Portland, Oregon where he had worked as a young man fresh out of college.  My story was featured in the Travel section of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

I am the go-to writer for Towards Employment, a non-profit with a mission I love – helping welfare recipients and ex-offenders learn the skills they need to get a job, keep a job and advance in a career. For many years I have written their annual reports, appeal letters, website, live event scripts and more.

I love writing magazine features and short alumni profiles for Saint Ignatius, the renowned Jesuit high school in Cleveland.  Click here to see an issue that includes my story on their Spirituality Program for Adults.

I’m part of a team of freelancers writing stories for the quarterly Sherwin-Williams employee magazine, Kaleidoscope.  I get to interview people around the world for stories about their work, the products and the incredibly positive culture at this historic global company founded in Cleveland.
